Washington Roadtrip: Last Days On The Road

After 3 hours on the road, we pulled into Port Orchard, where we enjoyed a few more days fellowshipping and visiting with the Winslow family. We had a wonderful time and it flew by much too quickly! We stayed there Friday evening-Monday night. ( Warning: This is going to be a little bit of a whirlwind of a post, with 80 plus pictures, so stay with me!)
 The long awaited destination....
 Driving onto their family property....
 Daniel trying out the zipline....
The Winslow kiddos are very loving....
 Having fun playing outdoors.....
Wiping down the table for a late dinner outside....
All of the kiddos were very happy to get lots of physical activity in during this time. They had been in doors a lot during the trip, wearing socks to keep carpets clean and in their car seats the rest of the time.
 Hamburgers and some humor.....
One of the mornings our family went to downtown Port Orchard.....
 Enjoying the scenery.....
Having a snack while watching the boats....
The boys enjoyed playing at the playground....
 Evie's wild side...;)
The Winslows invited us to a park for a picnic one day, so we loaded in our vans...
Setting up lunch by the lake....
Tarra and I had sandwich duty here-we got that a lot on this trip.;)
 The little girls waiting patiently...
 The boys playing football...
 Isaiah handing out sandwiches...;)
 Eating by the lake....
Grace enjoyed taking pictures of out little, "matching ones"....
 Preparing for a walk....
Caytlin and Gracie-they are both growing into lovely young ladies.:)
We had so much fun together-this was one of those moments....;)
 Trying to get organized..;)
We walked through the rose garden they had there and managed to get a group picture of everyone here! (Anybody who has a big family knows how character testing family pictures really are!! Just imagine twice the size. I have to say that the lady who snapped this for us did a good job-you can actually see everyone!)
A cute family one for the Winslows...
As lovely as the roses were, it's only fair to say that we really did not appreciate the flowers as much as one could-the company was far too distracting!:)
 Sisters..:)
 10 Winlsow + 9 Sebos......
....a lot of noise, excitement and adventure!
 A cute moment Caytlin captured....:)
Heading back to the van after a long, fun day....
Something I've learned about my limited experience with friends is that they should be able to be very comfortable with your parents, as they are with you! This is something that I really appreciate in Tarra! I loved watching her and mom interact...;)
On Sunday, our families worshipped together and then enjoyed a delicious brunch that Tarra worked hard to make: fresh blackberry French toast, watermelon, and sausage!
Once again, we are trying to get in some sort of order...;)
The freedom the kiddos had, to run and play safely was a real blessing!
The parents, see how there's an empty seat by mom? It would have been complete with Daddy there who we all missed having!!
 Caleb playing his cello....
 Sandwich duty, once again.....
F.U. G. S.O.: friends until God says otherwise.....;)
We really liked the deck-it was so lovely outside with the woods encircling the view.....
Hungry guys going through the meal line....
A recipe for a wonderful evening with a dear friend- hot tea, a warm fuzzy blanket and a toasty fire out on the deck!
Isaiah playing a trick on someone here......
Playing Apples To Apples, as Joshua W. dives into the card pile!!
It was fun to see the little ones get along as well as we older ones were!
Joshua, Timothy and Lily out on the deck with their lunch....
 Playing Indians and Cowboys....
I believe this was a game of baseball, here.
 Staying warm by the fire.....
Just putting the little ones at the table, we filled it.
More fun by the fire. This was supposed to be our last morning with the Winslow family.:P Obviously it was no longer morning here, and much to our surprise our parents were still visitng at 9 pm that evening.;) We were ALL very happy to have the extra day!!
 Poor Daniel.....;)
Some of our guys were out too....:P
Some of us are night owls.....
...but, with all the laughing that happened during this conversation, I think it's safe to say we were wiped out! Nonetheless, we had a blast!! We eventually left around midnight...:P
After a few hours on the road, we pulled into a hotel for the night. We were VERY glad to get some good sleep.
 Watching something while Momma sleeps.....
This was in front of the hotel we stayed at.....pretty neat.;)
We drove into the Brimlow's home after and stayed one more night with them before we drove home to CA.
Saying goodbye and getting an early start...
We saw this sign on the way home....
We had planned to drive 10 hours to Red Bluff and stay the night here. However, when we got into the area, the GPS said we had only 8 hours left! We were all so eager to get home and the next day was Dad and Mom's anniversary, so we decided to go straight through. Mom, who doesn't like coffee  bought a huge cup of it, and drove most of the rest of the way. We pulled it into Costa Mesa around 3 am in the morning! Daddy was eagerly awaiting our arrival and we were all very happy to see each other! After lots of hugs, we all piled in our own beds and were soon fast asleep. The road trip had come to an end, filled with lots of adventures, opportunities to trust the Lord, and plenty of good, warm, fellowship.

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
